On Aug. 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the corner of Hurlbut Ave.
and Gravenstein Highway North (Highway 116) in Sebastopol more than
a dozen families will be emptying their attics and garages, a whole
gang of teenage girls (and boys) will be selling home baked cakes,
brownies and cookies, and local businesses will be donating
goodies, books and other products. All the money raised will be
used to support the work of MoveOn.Org, an online community that
aims “to bring ordinary people back into politics.” A voter
registration booth will be on-site and there might even be some
live music! Anyone and everyone is invited to stop by, buy (or
sell) their backyard treasures and baked goods. For more
information, contact: Rick Brown at 829-3262 or
