Monty Milton Packard, 61, died on June 10, 2008, in Petaluma.
Packard was a lifetime resident of Sebastopol. A celebration of
life service will be held on Thursday, July 3 at 3:30 p.m. at Ives
Park, Sebastopol.
Packard was born on April 12, 1947, in Sebastopol. He grew up in
Sebastopol and attended Santa Rosa Junior College earning his
associate of arts degree in business administration after
graduating from Analy High in 1965.
He was an entrepreneur in business as well as in life.  He was a
kind, caring person. He was a good friend to many and would also go
the extra mile. Packard was very determined to see his daughters
succeed in life. He provided valuable life lessons to his girls as
well as others. His girls remember the fun-loving caring man, who
loved the outdoors and believed in living life to its fullest. 
Packard is survived by his daughters, Sherry A. Packard-Silvius
of Portland, OR and Justine Packard of Rohnert Park. He is also
survived by his five grandchildren Kayla, Cody, Tasha, Erza and
Julie. 
Also surviving are two brothers, James Packard of Stockton and
Larry Packard of Grass Valley.
