Marina McKenna

Marina Edith McKenna, 82, died peacefully at her Sebastopol home
on March 7. She was mother of James McMurtrie of Sebastopol and
Mike McKenna and his wife, Rachel of Sebastopol, grandmother of
Jason McMurtrie and his wife, Julie, Stefanie McMurtrie of Santa
Rosa and Michael McKenna and his wife, Karen of Windsor, Timothy,
Mary and Rebekah McKenna of Sebastopol, great grandmother of Maiya
Flores of Santa Rosa and sister of Lillian Deatherage of Rohnert
Park. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native
of Ancona, Italy, she was a resident of Sonoma County for 56 years.
She was an employee of Cushions, which became Santa Rosa Shoe
Factory, for 27 years. She was a woman of strong personal faith.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and playing cards. Friends
are invited to attend a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday,
March 19 at the Living Word Family Church, 1695 Piner Road, Santa
Rosa.
