Louise M. Hopper died Aug. 4, 2008 in Sebastopol at the age of
79. She was born in Oklahoma and has been a Sonoma County resident
for the past 60 years. Hopper enjoyed traveling, gardening,
cooking, sewing and most of all spending time with her family. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Alva C. Hopper; daughter,
Beatrice Rhodes; and brother, Bill Dillard. She is survived by her
six children, Roxy Ress, Alva Ray Hopper, Mike Hopper, Barbara
Collinsworth, Sue Denton and Kenny Hopper; three brothers, Willis
Dillard, J.C. Dillard and Lester Dillard; two sisters, Gladys
McMurry and Shirley Wetherly; 13 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren.
