Cleaning up Kleiser Park
Over the past couple of weeks, Cloverdale Rotarians spent time cleaning up and decorating Kleiser Park. As part of their work, the group repaired the park's sprinkler system, pruned trees and shrubs, raked leaves and got the park's lights working — they also decorated a bit for the holidays.

The eighth annual Heirloom Expo took place at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on Sept. 10, 11 and 12, and it featured exhibitions of everything “pure food.” The famous giant squash tower was in residence alongside epic displays of every varietal of heirloom fruits and vegetables imaginable.

TRUTH Act Forum data reveals Sheriff’s Office info to ICE led to 31 arrests in 2019, 12 in 2020
In 2019 the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office responded to 72 of the 596 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) requests for impending inmate release information and in 2020 the Sheriff’s Office responded to 57 of the 466 information requests, ultimately resulting in 31 arrests by ICE in 2019, and 12 in 2020 according to data from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Detention Records Bureau.
Healdsburg council approves use of West Plaza Parking Lot for wine tasting experience next May
A three-day food and wine event called the Healdsburg Wine & Food Experience is coming to Healdsburg next May and the focal point of the event, the Grand Tasting, will take place in the West Plaza Parking Lot instead of in the Plaza as originally planned.

SMART expanding service as ridership returns following pandemic drop
