Kids’ Corner: New fiction at the Cloverdale Regional Library

Editor’s Note: Kids’ Corner is a new monthly column written by the Cloverdale Regional Library’s children’s services librarian. The column will feature reviews of new children’s books that you can find at the library.

Rallying to reopen

A group of student and parent demonstrators met outside of Cloverdale High School on Feb. 17 to show support for reopening schools. Signs being held by demonstrators emphasized the toll that extended distance learning has had on student mental health, and mentioned prioritizing students over teachers unions.

Decking the Halls, Dec. 5

FESTIVE FUN — Ms. Miranda’s first grade class (pictured above) joined a handful of classes from Jefferson Elementary to decorate Christmas trees in downtown businesses on Thursday, Dec. 5. Students were welcomed at each participating business with a tree waiting for decorations, and some treats. Ms. Miranda’s class decorated a tree for the Cloverdale Reveille and Mail Center, Etc. office.
