On Jan. 3, at 12:30am, a man on University Street at Haydon Street stated that two teenagers were in a vehicle driving erratically. While on the phone, dispatch heard the RP and 2 other subjects in a verbal dispute. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted both teenagers. An 18-YO man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony and committing a hate crime. The other 18-YO man was arrested for conspiracy to commit a felony, committing a hate crime and battery. They were brought to county jail.

On Christmas Eve, at 8:40pm, multiple RPs in the city indicated they heard gunshots or fireworks. One RP stated the sound was by the river, and another stated the sound came from the area of March Avenue and Lupine Court. Officers responded, but did not see or hear anything in either area. Aggrieved reindeer?

Monday, Dec. 16: An officer stopped a vehicle on Matheson Street at Center Street for suspicion of having expired registration. The vehicle displayed a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle. Through a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun and about half an ounce of suspected methamphetamines. A 36-YO woman and 51-YO man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and having forged or altered registration.

Here's one: "3:18pm The Reporting Party (RP) on Hudson Street indicated that a transient was camped on the property and the RP wanted the person to leave. The RP did not want to press charges. An officer responded but was unable to locate the transient. The officer gave the RP advice and forwarded the information to the therapist on staff for possible follow up."

10:11pm The RP’s vehicle was hit in the parking lot of Safeway on Vine Street and a note was not left. A bystander had a video of the suspect vehicle. An officer responded and took a report.

Nov. 20: 2:59pm Petty theft occurred at Healdsburg High School on Prince Avenue. A week prior, AirPods were stolen. The RP tracked the location of the AirPods to an address. The RP did not know who lived at that address. The RP wanted a report, but did not want to press changes. And more Police reports...

Monday, Nov. 11, 4:20pm: An accident occurred on Grant Street which involved a vehicle hitting a 7-year-old female pedestrian.  The girl was conscious and not bleeding, and her father declined medical assistance. The driver of the vehicle left her contact information with someone before leaving the scene.

A day in the life of Healdsburg Police: On Sunday, Nov. 10, at 1:12pm, it was reported that indicated that six or more juveniles were in a physical altercation at the roundabout on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers responded and the juveniles fled. Knives were located and multiple juveniles were detained...

A 47-YO man was cited and released for misuse of license and registration documents, violation of probation, violation of vehicle registration rules, violation of the open container law, and on outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence (DUI) and driving without a required ignition interlock device...."
