It should not come as a great surprise that the Sonoma County
Democratic Central Commitee has unanimously passed a resolution
calling on California Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer
to support the censure of President George W. Bush that is being
proposed by Senator Russ Feingold. Feingold is calling on his
colleagues to censure Bush over the illegal wiretapes and
surveillance of U.S. citizens. The county Democrats also called on
their state legislators to ratify a joint resolution calling for
impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Similar
resolutions have been approved by county central committes across
the state and the U.S., according to local Demos.
