Another successful baseball season will end this week for Sebastopol and El Molino Little Leagues, with the completion of District 35 all star tournaments. 
The leagues combined to send five teams to the double-elimination all star tourneys at various venues, with a couple making some noise before being bounced.  
The El Molino Little League was represented by the 8-10 minors and 10-12 majors squad, while Sebastopol had all star teams in the 9-11s, 50/70 intermediate and junior divisions.
The SLL 50/70 all star team was the most successful of all divisions this season in District 35 action, bouncing back from a 6-5 loss to Petaluma National on June 16 with subsequent wins over Rincon Valley (9-7) and Petaluma National (14-11). The magic ran out on June 20 in a 4-2 loss to Mark West.
The SLL juniors squad entered their District 35 tourney as the defending champions, rebounding from a 12-2 loss to Cloverdale on June 22 with a 7-1 victory over Fort Bragg. The locals were eliminated on June 24 when they fell to Westside, 10-4.
The SLL 9-11s opened their District 35 tourney with a 19-0 loss to Petaluma National on June 29 and at press time were preparing to face Santa Rosa American in an elimination game on July 1.
The El Molino 8-10 year-old minor all stars opened District 35 action on June 28, dropping a 14-13 barnburner to Petaluma National. El Mo defeated Fort Bragg 8-3 on June 30 and was awaiting a Monday, July 1 clash with Cloverdale.
The EMLL 10-12 major all stars kicked off their tournament on June 28 in Petaluma with a 6-0 loss to Healdsburg and were bounced two days later when they fell to Mark West, 7-6.
