Saturday, July 1 marked the end of the 2017 Little League baseball campaign for Cloverdale all stars, as the 12-year-old Majors squad was officially eliminated from District 35 tournament action.
The lone representative for the CLL in District 35 all star competition this year, the Majors team opened the District 35 tourney on June 30 at Petaluma Valley, falling to their hosts, 16-0. Cloverdale was eliminated from the tournament the following day in a 17-5 loss to Westside.
The CLL Major all star team was led by manager Ian Jones and coaches Nick Beeson and Jason Jenkins. Players included TJ Beeson, Joseph Lincoln, Jimmy Pope, Travis Wedge, Emilio Diaz, Rylee Reasoner, Kolby Jenkins, Jamon Henkel, Audie Hanes, Corbin Drake, Jaedon Torinato and Dylan Jones.

Fall Ball sign-ups on tap

The CLL is conducting sign-ups for the upcoming Fall Ball season for players aged 9-14 (on 4-30-2018). Practices are scheduled to start for each division in late July, with games played from August through mid October.

The season will include three divisions; Minor (ages 9-10), Major (ages 11-12), and Juniors (ages 13-14). The cost for each player is $115. Checks may be made payable to Cloverdale Little League.
