The varsity Lions and Tigers are nearing the halfway mark on the spring hardball circuit, both emerging from a wet March with solid win-loss records.
That trend continued in a pair of recent outings for each team, with the Lions gaining a split in a pair of non-league games against St. Mary’s and Berean Christian, while the Tigers took two of three in dates with Healdsburg and Montgomery.
The teams will ramp up the action this week when the Lions (0-3, 5-5) visit Montgomery (April 8, after press time), followed by road and home dates with Santa Rosa (April 10 and 12). El Mo will entertain Healdsburg next Monday, April 15.  All games start at 4 p.m.
Meanwhile the Tigers (2-4, 5-7) have schedule outings at Ukiah (April 10), home versus San Rafael (April 11, 4 p.m.) and a home rematch against Ukiah (April 12, 4 p.m.).  Analy will host Maria Carrillo next Tuesday, April 16 at 4 p.m.
