The El Molino boys combined talent and versatility to complete an unbeaten season at the Sonoma County League Track & Field Championships held at Piner High School on Saturday, easily out-pointing the field to capture their second straight title.
The action began with the trials on Thursday, followed by the finals on Saturday. The goal for most participants was a top-four finish, good for advancement to the North Coast Section Redwood Empire Qualifier meet to be held at Santa Rosa High School this Saturday, May 19 (10 a.m.).
In all, Analy and El Molino combined to qualify more than three dozen athletes to the NCS REQ. 
The Lions scored a meet record 188 points, more than twice the total of second place Piner (84). Rounding out the meet scoring were Petaluma 76.5, Analy 68, Healdsburg 52, Sonoma Valley 24.5, Elsie Allen 0.
The El Molino girls, which went undefeated in the regular season, captured a share of the league team championship, finishing second to Petaluma (148) at the SCL meet with a score of 124.  Analy was third with 77 points, followed by Healdsburg (74), Sonoma Valley (39), Piner (21) and Elsie Allen (3).
El Molino senior Jack Fricker turned in a Herculean performance to capture individual titles in the 110 and 300 Meter Hurdles, Long Jump and Triple Jump. Also winning league titles for the Lions were Austin Kelsey (Shot Put), Avery Ransome (Discus), Kassidy Sani (Shot Put) and Lily Krauss (Discus).
Analy also had its share of great performances in the finals led by individual champions Bennett Simpson (100, 200 Meters), Maddie Windsor (400 Meters), Alec Dierke (400 Meters), Gabrielle Dahlen (200 Meters) and Margaux Jame (100 Meter High Hurdles).
