Great reporting
EDITOR: Regarding the article, “What is the role of law enforcement in dealing with the homeless?” (Aug. 10, 2017) great article. I think it’s inspiring that law enforcement, social services and the Sonoma County District Attorney are all working together to help all the folks out there who have fallen on hard times.
Also, a great big thank you to Heather Bailey and Amie Windsor for great writing and great reporting. Sorry it took me this long to get this letter to you.

No pleasure drunk cyclists, please
EDITOR: I read on the Sebastopol City Council’s agenda that they are planning on destroying the boulevard planters along the approximately four blocks of Covert Lane. As a person that uses that street frequently, I am opposed to that action to install bike lanes.
People must navigate to that short road from other unsafe streets. I fear that by making Covert Lane the only safe place to ride a bike in Sebastopol, soon the street will be filled with pleasure drunk bikers at all hours of day and night. I much prefer the neglected plants along the boulevard that contribute to the cultivated deferred maintenance look of our sophisticated village.

September 11 and Christmas
EDITOR: Learning the truth can be painful. After I separated from my husband, my daughter spent every Christmas with her father. He told her stories about Santa and his reindeer and how he came down the chimney with presents. They made cookies for him etc. In my family Santa Claus was a dirty word. My father was a Lutheran Minister. When my daughter was around 6 years old, she asked me, “Mom, do you believe is Santa?” I casually said no, without giving it much thought. She glared at me and said, “You don’t believe in Santa?”
I was surprised by her emotional outburst. “You have to believe in Santa,” she repeated loudly, tears in her eyes. I told her it’s OK honey, you can believe in Santa, I don’t have to. My point is, truth can be devastating. We will soon be approaching Sept.11, “Patriot Day” (interesting it was labeled that).
The Patriot Act was soon enacted after 9/11 to better catch the “terrorists,” or so we were lead to believe. We were told stories (lies), but it wasn’t Santa coming down the chimney, it was Islamic terrorists crashing planes into New York’s Twin Towers.
Why? and what about Building 7? YouTube is a wonderful information tool. Search for U.S. Army Major General Albert Stubblebine. (He even looks like Santa without the long hair and beard, but he tells the truth); 9/11 Truth, the New Pearl Harbor or Anatomy of a great Deception.
But be prepared. Santa doesn’t go down chimneys. The towers weren’t brought down by planes. We owe it to the victims of Sept. 11, and the victims of the wars these false stories (false flags) have created. And to ourselves for having freedom and Constitutional rights taken. Please do the research on YouTube. And then spread the word. Our home depends on it.
