Peach wood would be welcome
EDITOR: We enjoy reading Gayle Sullivan’s column and peach recipes. She mentioned that she has peach wood from trees that are removed. It would be super if she could bring some of that wood to her stand at the farmers market. I am sure there are other folks who would enjoy grilling with it as we would.

EDITOR: I would like to thank everybody that supported me at the rally to get back my black powder flintlock rifle next month. Also, for all the signatures. I got a lot of them. And the letters people wrote to the district attorney, public defender and especially the judge who decided on the firearm charge. At first I was told I would probably go to jail. But not now thanks to the support of friends and Healdsburg people that knew 40 years ago and now their kids know me as Davey Crockett of Healdsburg.
I couldn’t have done it without you, my friends, who helped to get the firearm charge dropped from the judge in Santa Rosa. I am so grateful to the people of Healdsburg.
