Movie night fundraiser on Friday
EDITOR: My name is Danielle Neustadt. I am a student at Cloverdale High School and a dancer for the high school and for the Cloverdale School of Dance.
This Friday, the Cloverdale Kiwanis Club and Key Club are hosting a fundraiser for the Save the Rain cause. The fundraiser is a movie night where we will be showing the movie “Grease.” There will be wine, appetizers and desserts, a photo backdrop, a costume contest and a few dances performed by a group of dancers. These are dancers from the high school, choreographed by their teacher, Katie Bogner.
Come check us out on Jan. 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. We’ll be at the Cloverdale Performing Arts Center. The tickets are $35. It would be best to purchase your tickets in advance at the Mail Center, Etc. Tickets may be purchased at the door, but there may be a limited number of them available at that time. We hope to see you at the “Grease” movie night.

Special Needs Activity Program starts Saturday
EDITOR: This Saturday marks the start of the winter season of the Special Needs Activities Program (SNAP) presented by the City of Healdsburg Parks and Recreation department in conjunction with Rotary Cares, a combination of the Cloverdale, Windsor and both Healdsburg Rotary Clubs.
The program is open to all special needs children between the age of 5 and 20, and there is no cost to the parent or caregiver. The various activities are designed to improve spatial and motor skills, body control and coordination, peer interaction, plus other functions in a fun and welcoming environment.
