Relay for Life of Windsor was held the weekend of July 16. More than $32,000 was raised and donated to the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is the premiere fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Thanks to the volunteers and Relay teams who worked so hard to make this event a success.  A special thank you to Allison Paige for her wonderful rendition of our National Anthem. Not only does Allison have a beautiful singing voice, she is a cancer survivor. Thanks, as always, to our wonderful Kiwanis Club. They arrive very early on Sunday morning to provide a free breakfast for our weary walkers. They have provided this breakfast since 2003! You are truly our “breakfast angels.” On a personal note, I want to thank the hard-working members of my unsinkable Life Saver team for all they do help in the fight against cancer. I am grateful to be captain of this remarkable team.
