Relay request
Editor: Next Saturday, Windsor business people will be visited by some of our Relay for Life volunteers. We want to encourage them to Paint the Town Purple with us to bring attention to our upcoming Relay for Life to be held the weekend of July 18 in Keiser Park. Purple is the color worn by all cancer survivors and we would love our local businesses to help us in honoring those fighting, and remembering those lost to this terrible disease, by using the color purple in their displays. We also want to get the word out about the events that will be happening at our Relay. Free admission, family friendly event, fun for the kids including a bounce house, crafts, face painting, food, live music and 100 percent of the proceeds raised from any sales that day go directly to the American Cancer Society.
