Successful Prom
Editor: The Great Gatsby 2014 Prom at the Hyatt was an epic success! This was thanks to Chris Vetrano, Jeff Lefebvre and the leadership team who did a great job organizing, arranging and decorating this huge event. The Hyatt staff said “The Windsor High School students are so respectful and polite, this was a well organized event.”
I would like to thank all the fearless volunteers who gave up their Saturday night to chaperone and make this happen, Kambiz Ahmad, Amber Lefebvre, John Vetrano, Alex Zouzounis, Dave Murray, Rod McMasters and the security guys (who were not needed because WHS is so epic). The Coat Check Gals were amazing as always, thank you:
Andi Rosales and her friend Noel Barton, Seanna Buckman, Marcela Cerney, Cathryn Catania, Carrie Mibella, Jo Boucher, Lauren Bodsworth, Sherry Philips, Delia Sayavedo, Tracy Bell was brilliant on the nominations table, guarding the tiara and crown.
Thank you everyone for making this dance a total success, hope to see you all at the next fun event!

Looking for Helpers
Editor: Project Graduation is a nationally recognized alcohol and drug free party designed to give high school graduates a safe alternative to celebrating their special night. Statistics have shown that students celebrating on the evening of graduation can experience one of the most dangerous nights of their young lives and this alternative saves lives.
Class of 2014 needs a lot of help, especially from non-senior parents and guardians!
We need help on Friday, May 30 from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 31, 7 a.m-3 p.m. for set-up and decorating and on Sunday, June 1 starting at 6 a.m. for clean up. We still need between 20-30 volunteers on each of those days.
We still have openings to work the night of the event (Saturday, May 31) from 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., especially the second shift from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. and it is so much fun to watch these young people have fun before their next journey.
Please call Mona Ibrahim at 799-0810 or email at mi******@so***.net ASAP if you can help in any of those areas!

Support for Gore
Editor: Seven local leaders who have served as Mayor of Windsor are supporting James Gore for 4th District Supervisor. Former Mayors Steve Scott, Marjorie Smith, Julie Adamson, Robin Goble, Steve Allen, Warin Parker and current Mayor Bruce Okrepkie all feel that James Gore has the qualities we are looking for in leadership for the north county. He brings a fresh perspective along with a gift for listening and problem solving in an inclusionary way that will best serve us. Please join the seven of us in voting for James Gore to best represent Windsor and the 4th District on June 3.

Great Senior Classes
Editor: Wow! LOVE the Windsor Senior Center. So many classes and fun to take advantage of.
My favorite is Alan’s Thursday Pilates Class. He is wonderfully talented in bringing out the best in his students. Thank you Allan!
