Thank you Cafe Noto Bell Village activists

I applaud the efforts of the Cafe Noto Bell Village activists to maintain the  Windsor community  and your challenge to the City Council its ill-thought-out infill program. The plan for high density rentals does not meet the needs of our community only the pocket book of the developer. We need affordable housing so young families, singles and retired people can have a stake in their community by buying a townhome.  The current developer is only going to allow a small number of units to be sold. This is not what we need for our community. Lets have affordable entry level housing in reasonable numbers. Forcing people rent rather than buy is a poor trade off.

I would like to thank the Windsor Kiwanis, Windsor Lions, Windsor Knights of Columbus, Windsor Rotary, anonymous donors, CALI PTA, Windsor Middle School, Windsor High School, Home Depot and parents who donated money and time to help six of our Windsor Teams of Odyssey of the Mind get to their state competition. We are so grateful. These service organizations and others are truly the life blood of our town and do so much for the children here.  Everyone should join a service club! They have also contributed to the Windsor Performing Arts Academy, making it possible for our schools to offer musical drama to the kids at no cost to the schools. Please come see the fruits of your labors on May 14 and 15 at Brooks Elementary school 7 p.m. (The Snow Queen!)
