Good deeds in Sebastopol
Editor: On Saturday afternoon, April 25, I spent some time parked in front of Fast Gas in Sebastopol, struggling with a problem with my truck. I walked down to Fircrest Market for some WD-40 that might fix the problem (alas, it didn’t), and, as I was walking back, a woman passing by with her son asked me if I was OK. We talked for a minute, and went on our ways. I hope you see this letter, nice woman, because your thoughtful concern turned a frustrating afternoon into a reminder that there are things far more important than broken-down trucks. You didn’t fix my truck, but you sure fixed my spirit. To let you know: I got home safely and am fixing the problem today.
