He will be missed
Editor: Along with many others, I was dismayed to learn Matthew Hall is resigning his position at The Windsor Times. He’s been such a fixture, it is difficult to imagine the paper without him.
Over the past eight years I have had the pleasure of working with Matthew many, many times. He has been an invaluable resource for Windsor Fire. He always could be counted on to help us get our message out, whether a life- or fire-safety message, event announcement, or event coverage/photographs. When Windsor Fire was in the news, his stories always were even-sided and fair.
As Matt says good-bye to our community, he should be proud of his Windsor legacy. He will be missed. I wish him the best of luck…although I am sorry he has to live in L.A.

Wish you the best
Editor: Hearing Matthew Hall’s departure, I felt compelled to publicy thank him for his many contributions to our community. We in the fire department have first-hand knowledge of Matt’s dedication. Over the years, Matt has helped us educate those we serve through the publication of many safety articles/messages. He has attended and photographed every fire department event, from small to large. During times of controversy, the Windsor Times coverage was always fair and even-sided. Matt is the epitome of a local, weekly newspaper editor. We hope his successor will be guided by Matt’s example. We wish all the best to Matt as he pursues his career advancement. He will be missed.
