Disappointed
Editor: I am very disappointed with the Windsor Town Council’s allowing 100 year old oak trees on Old Redwood Highway to be removed. Sam Salmon was the only council member to oppose this. I hope the powers that be replace the oak trees with high hedges, similar to the ones on Windsor Road south of the high school, along with the planting of reasonably large trees. I spoke with nearby residents and they also were upset at the removal of the trees. There are times when progress is too aggressive.
