Wine Walk Thanks
Editor: On behalf of the more than 3,000 people that we assist each month, the board and volunteers of the Windsor Service Alliance Food Pantry would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2016 Windsor Winter Wine Walk.
Thank you to the downtown merchants for opening up your shops and designating the Windsor Service Alliance as the designee of the event. Thanks to the participating wineries and restaurants for their generosity. Special thanks to Laurie Shimizu of Mark Shimizu Design for her dedication and hours of hard work in coordinating this wonderful community event.
In this season of Thanksgiving, we would like to express our gratitude to the people of Windsor. In once again making the Winter Wine Walk a sellout success, you helped raise $12,000 that will go to support your neighbors who may need help in getting groceries on their families’ tables. No one in Windsor should never worry about going hungry.
