A loss for Healdsburg
Editor: The lights went out at Wild Sage Deli last week, just one more instance of a small, family-owned business being forced out of town. The Leelands (Brian and Michele and Noel) worked hard over the last several years to create a business offering affordable, tasty and healthy homemade fare. Their loving and positive attitude and charm will be missed even more than their food. They are some of the nicest and hardworking folks I have ever met. The location hosted several unsuccessful businesses before them, so it took awhile for them to build the business and become known. They did all the right things and were looking forward to many more years of feeding you, but now they are gone. Another big loss for Healdsburg.
