Roundabouts
Editor: In response to your article “Council approves two large sculptures for new roundabouts” (Windsor Times Dec. 3 Front Page), why should we Windsor residents be happy about the Council’s approval of two large art sculptures proposed for the new roundabouts to the tune of $2,800 for a loan, another $250,000 should purchase be desired, when 1) sculptures will obstruct the visual field for motoristis, bicyclists and pedestrians, 2) our library needs the money for upgrading and remodeling, and 3) we can use our Windsor talent, artists and landscapers to create spaces within the roundabouts that are beautiful, safe and made in Windsor.
