Generous support and hard work acknowledged

I am so proud of the Cloverdale community for their generous support of our Performing Arts Center. The 2015 announcement of plays was a wonderful example of a community coming together to enable a local asset to grow and thrive.
Over 150 season tickets were sold last Thursday night. That means $7,500 was raised for the Cloverdale Food Pantry, Wallace House, Senior Center/Meals on Wheels and Cloverdale Boys and Girls Club.
This year an anonymous donor matched every season ticket sale with a $50 donation for these worthy, local non-profits. This generous couple has agreed to extend the offer to Dec. 15th, so it is not too late to support five local non-profits for the price of one.
Purchase a season ticket, which includes all six productions next year, for $96.00 and they will donate $50 for the four non-profits listed above. Buy them online at cloverdaleperformingarts.com or in person at Mail Center, etc next to the Performing Arts Center. Help make this a truly Happy Holiday Season for all of us and join in.
A huge “well done” goes to the Performing Arts Center Board of Directors — Judy Boyce, Mary Dixon, Dobie Edmunds, Lee Hunt, Susanne Imhaus, Ken Knight, Roger Quintin, Bob Scott, Tonny van der Leeden, Kay Wells and Bobbie Stafford. I can’t thank you enough. So many people worked very hard to make this night a success and they reached that goal. Thank you all.
Mary Ann Brigham,
Cloverdale
