A special prom night
Editor: You may remember last February a Windsor High School senior who planned and put together a prom for all the special kids in Sonoma County who weren’t able to attend or missed out on the experience of their prom. The prom, “A Night Under the Sea” 2014, was a huge success with over 150 attendees. Students from Windsor High School and Windsor Middle came to volunteer, as well as to dance, hang out, take pictures and just have a lot of fun with our special guests. It was a night that will not be forgotten by all and will live on thanks to a group of WHS seniors that have chosen to take this on for their senior project. Windsor’s second annual special prom, “A Night in Tropical Paradise” 2015, will take place on March 7 at the Vineyard of Faith Church. Seniors Natalia Rodriguez, Madailein Stokeld, Saul Zarate, Natali Magana and Daisy Cuevas are asking anyone interested in helping or donating to contact them via email (
