Hunger never takes a break
Editor: Windsor Service alliance would like to thank the entire Windsor community, local merchants, organizations and community sponsors for their joint effort to stamp out hunger for scores of Windsor families.
We would like to acknowledge these major sponsors for their support: The Winter Wine Walk, The Town of Windsor, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Raley’s, Safeway, Exchange Bank, Microvue, Structure U Fitness, local chapters of the Kiwanis, Boy Scout, 4-H Clubs, Rotary Interact Club, Windsor Elementary, Middle and High Schools, United States Postal Service, WalMart, Creative Property Services, Windsor Community United Methodist Church, Vicky’s Bookkeeping Service, David Mohle Printing and the hard working Windsor Service Alliance volunteers.
Each week our food pantry provides food and services for Windsor families and senior citizens who lack the resources to provide fully for themselves or their families. This cannot be accomplished without your help. Our next food drive is in collaboration with the U.S. Postal Service “Stamp Out Hunger,” scheduled for May 11. We also appreciate the donation of canned goods, rice and beans throughout the year.
Thank you for making Windsor such a caring and generous community because hunger never takes a break. Windsor Service Alliance is an all-volunteer, non-salaried organization, dedicated to assisting Windsor residents.
