Artful Eye says farewell to Cloverdale
Editor:
On Feb. 1, 2015, my daughter, Joan Dresback, will assume ownership of the Artful Eye Gallery. I will retire from full time gallery management. I plan to continue for awhile as gallery consultant and manager of the online store.
Unfortunately, the transition cannot happen before our lease expires. Until Joan personally settles in the area and secures another suitable retail space for the gallery, we find it necessary to move from our current Cloverdale location.
The decision to retire from the gallery business has not been easy, especially since we have been so warmly accepted in Cloverdale. For the past two and a half years, it has been my pleasure to be part of the community. The acceptance and support from local residents and merchants has been gratifying. Nevertheless, after more than 20 years in the gallery business, I look forward to turning over the reins and having more freedom to enjoy other activities.
From now until our closing on Jan. 30, 2015, we will be offering consigned art at reduced prices of 30 percent and gallery owned art at 50 percent clearance. Most of our displays and fixtures will be stored, however a few are available for purchase. We welcome inquiries from interested merchants and artists.
From time to time, we will post developments, updates and announcements on our website. Thank you for shopping at The Artful Eye. It has been our pleasure.

Gallery Owner & Director
