Embracing change and honoring heritage
Editor: My family and I moved to Windsor in 1966. We lived on Starr Road in a time when many weren’t proud to admit they lived in Windsor. Over the years I’ve seen Windsor change. Where I once rode my horse, is now the high school and KC’s American Kitchen. I banked where Robert’s Relics is. I washed my clothes at a laundromat where my condo now sits. My first rental out of High School is shadowed by three story condo buildings. So, yes I’ve seen our town change, some good and some not so good. Regardless of our resistance to change we must embrace our community’s growth together. Today, I’m proud to say I live in Windsor although we are divided as a community. I want to see Windsor remain diverse, welcoming, family driven, with a well laid plan for our active community. We can do this by continuing to embrace change and honor Windsor’s heritage while maintaining our small hometown feel. Let’s do this together by supporting Deb Fudge and Bruce Okrepkie for Town Council, you’ll know they are working for Windsor’s best tomorrow.
Vote for Deb and Bruce this November.
