Editor: I just returned from a great night at AT&T Park
watching the Giants win an exciting game against the Colorado
Rockies with my family and 400 of my neighbors. What made it so
significant was we not only saw a great game, but the attendance by
all 400 Healdsburg residents was a fundraiser for Healdsburg
Education Foundation (HEF). The Healdsburg crowd erupted in
thunderous applause when students and community members sang the
National Anthem, when Healdsburg resident, Raul Friedman announced
the first three Giants to bat in the third inning, and when the
community singers sang ³Take Me Out to The Ballgame² during the
seventh inning stretch. What a great way to raise money, meet your
neighbors and enhance the feeling of a true community!
