Caramba! According to CNBC, parents will be spending an average of $510 per child this back-to-school shopping season. The new wardrobe—to start the year in style—plus pens, pencils, crayons, backpack and notebooks will be purchased both in-store and on-line, all designed to launch a successful school year.
Another route to attaining academic success—at no cost—is your library. Homework Help is offered every Monday from 4 to 5:30 p.m., all grades, any subject. From assisting the beginning reader to helping one preparing for college entrance, it’s personalized attention and aid. The trained tutors can offer ideas on how to tackle homework and explain concepts, all leading to your child’s building learning skills and boosting confidence. Your student will have a better understanding of the subject, leading to the best ever grades. And when the homework is done, it’ll be time for a different kind of fun – check out the library’s September events.

Adult Book Discussion: Caramba!  By Nina Marie Martinez; An interesting title – caramba can denote surprise or pain (which did you experience at the beginning of this article?). At a trendy restaurant by that name, it is suggested that you order two scrambled eggs with bell peppers and onion.
