February: National Library Lovers Month
And this month’s activities radiate possibilities – from light in spirit to high on impact – that will inspire, educate, and entertain you.
Plus, do meet our new librarian, Novato-native Vicki Chavez. Even as a child, Vicki loved visiting the library. Now, as our adult librarian, she’s enthusiastic about making sure your visits are valuable. For instance, “My goal is to provide excellent customer service and accurate information.”
Vicki is also looking forward to the future expansions: “I’m excited about providing more outreach in the community; and am thrilled that, thanks to Measure Y, the library will soon increase services and be open on Mondays.”
So whether you need a good book recommendation (“Try Bill Bryson’s Walk in the Woods, Lab Girl by Hope Jahren, or Colsen Whitehead’s Underground Railroad!”), recommendations for research projects, or just the instructions for streaming movies, ‘check out’ Vicki Chavez.
