Library Sing-Along: Food for Fines

Should auld book fines soon be forgot?
Yes! Never more to mind
Bring back your overdue materials
And some food, the nonperishable kind
For old book fines will then be gone
From your account past due
Plus local food banks will be glad
For delicious donations from you!
Last year, “Food for Fines” collected 5,974 pounds of food (and forgave $6,853 in fines and fees for 574 patrons).  Food donation barrels are in all branches.
Everyone’s invited to contribute; Yule be glad you did!
