Leona M. “Oney” Stoll, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 in
Windsor, Ca. Leona is survived by her daughters, Eileen and Joanne
both of Windsor, her sisters, Harriet Lang and Joan (Harley)
Knowlton both of Ashland, Ohio, her brothers, Ron (Dot) Johnson of
Cleveland, Ohio and Bob (Donna) Johnson of Orlando, Fl. Leona was a
second mother to her niece Charlene and her three children. She is
also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand
nephews. Leona was born in Oberland, Ohio and lived in Sonoma
County since 1968. She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist
Church, she sang with and accompanied numerous groups. Leona was a
gifted musician, as a pianist, an organist, a vocalist and a
teacher. She was an avid world traveler and possessed many
exceptional talents. She was a damned hard act to follow.
Join us for a celebration of Leona’s life on Saturday, Feb. 2,
2008 at 2 p.m. at the Windsor United Methodist Church in Windsor.
