DELCAMBRE – Services for Mrs. Dorville St. Germain, 93, the
former Leah Peltier, will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Lake of
the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Herb Bennerfield
officiating. Entombment will be in the church mausoleum.
Visitation will be today from 1-10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at
Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Saturday from 8 a.m.
until the time of services.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. St.
Germain died at 4:46 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2002, at an Erath
nursing home.
She is survived by her son, Jessie Dubois of Delcambre; two
daughters, Melva Bergeron of Abbeville, and Gloria D. Barras of New
Iberia; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. St. Germain was preceded in death by her husband, Dorville
St. Germain; her parents, Edward and Victoria Picard Peltier; four
brothers, Clairville, Rudolf, Richard and Elie Peltier; and two
sisters, Olila Breaux and Lydia Dubois.
Evangeline Funeral Home of Delcambre is in charge of
arrangements.
