Wins have been coming in bunches for the Lady Lions and Tigers in a great preseason for both teams, and that continued in a string of recent victories.

The Tigers (10-3) claimed two wins in three outings, bouncing back from a 58-51 loss to Drake with successive wins over Lower Lake (49-21) and Terra Linda (53-52).
Analy will take a holiday break before wrapping up pre-league play in the Lady Dawg Tournament in San Rafael on Dec. 28-29.
The Lions (5-6) are also in the midst of a strong season, defeating St. Vincent (39-35) and Roseland University Prep (58-44) in back-to-back games.
The Lions will close out a strong pre-league campaign this week with home and away games against Santa Rosa (Dec. 20, 7:30 p.m.) and Fort Bragg (Dec. 22, 4 p.m.).
Tigers on a roll 
Analy bounced back in a big way on Dec. 13, following a loss at Drake, soundly defeating visiting Lower Lake, 49-21. Pacing the Tigers’ offense were Lucca Lowenberg (10), Isabel Housman (9), Luna Planty (6), Sierra Atkins (6), Lucia Jameau, (5), Bailey Alberigi (4), Minh Tam Le (4), Samantha Davis (3) and Aleah Armstrong (2).
The Tigers entertained Terra Linda in a barnburner on Saturday, as the game came down to the final seconds before Analy escaped with a 53-52 win. Housman and Atkins shared top scoring honors with 11, while other big contributors were Lowenberg (8), Planty (5), Davis (5), Leah Lawrence (5), Jameau (4), Tam Le (2) and Armstrong (2).
Lions in win column   
The Lady Lions recorded wins five and six, beginning with a 39-35 victory over St. Vincent on Dec. 10.  Freshman phenom Ellie Roan continued to light it up with a team-high 22 points. Other top scorers included freshman Talia Husary (7), junior Hailee Walker (5), senior Grace Anderson (3) and freshman Alex Foszcz (2).
El Molino was back at home on Thursday against Roseland University Prep, taking it to the Knights in a 58-44 rout.  Roan led all scorers with a season-high 27 points, while other top scorers were Walker (12), Husary (8), Anderson (6), Claire Casey (2) and Foszcz (2).
