Shay Mendoza was one of four Lady Jaguars to land on the All-North Bay League team this season.

The Lady Jaguars said goodbye to the 2016 softball campaign with a year-end awards banquet and the announcement of the All-North Bay League team this month.
Garnering All-League distinction were Second-Team selections; junior utility player Shay Mendoza, sophomore outfielder Alyssa DeCasas and sophomore infielder Camille Kahnberg.
The Jaguars also handed out team awards at their recent end-of-season banquet, honoring both on-field accomplishments and excellence in the classroom.
The award for “Ms. Offense” went to Shay Mendoza, while senior second baseman Rebecca Thomas took home the trophy for “Ms. Defense.”
The Windsor High School Scholar Athlete award winners included; freshman pitcher/first baseman Kayla Scott, junior outfielder Maddie Pellman, Kahnberg, DeCasas and Thomas.
The team also paid tribute to graduating veterans Ashlynn Wells and Thomas, but look forward to returning 10 players to next year’s squad.
