The Cloverdale Lady Eagles continued to battle on the pre-league hard-court last weekend, logging three outings in the Ukiah Tournament.
The Eagles kicked off the tournament against a strong Montgomery squad, staying within striking distance to trail 21-14 at the half. The Vikings pulled away in the fourth quarter to win 51-29. Â
Pacing the Cloverdale offense were Angel Bernardi (10 points, 1 rebound, 4 steals), Shaylee Roberts (3 points, 8 boards, 1 steal), Amy Mora (5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist), Kirsten Villavicencio (4 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal), Jazmin Orozco (3 points, 7 rebounds), and Bailey Stewart (2 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist). Â
The Eagles faced a solid Livermore team in game two on Dec. 13, spotting their opponent a 17-5 first-quarter lead before battling back to trail 21-13 at the half. Cloverdale was held to four points in a decisive third period as Livermore cruised to a 42-27 win.
Top point-getters were Roberts (10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals), Villavicencio (4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals), Viviana Martinez (2 points), Orozco (3 points, 1 steal), Kelsi Sibert (3 boards), Bernardi (4 points, 4 rebounds), Stewart.(4 points, 6 boards, 3 assists), Arianan Fernandez (3 rebounds) and Mora (3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal).
The ladies played the getaway game against Analy on Saturday, hanging tough for three quarters before the Tigers emerged with a 34-27 win.

Cloverdale will be back in action this weekend (Dec. 20-21) in the St. Bernard’s Basketball Tournament in Eureka.
