HOOP VETERANS — El Molino senior guard Grace Anderson (No. 11) and Analy junior guard Isabel Housman have been rock solid for their basketball teams this year.

The wins continue to pile up for Analy and El Molino girls basketball teams in the final stages of the regular season, navigating their respective North Bay League divisions with great success.
The Lady Lions maintained third place all alone in the NBL Redwood Division, combining a 67-53 win over Maria Carrillo with a 56-46 loss to Piner. Leading scorers against the Prospectors were Ellie Roan (17 points) and Grace Anderson (12).
At press time El Molino (5-3, 13-10) was preparing to finish up league play at home with games against Healdsburg (Jan. 29) and Rancho Cotate (Jan. 31, Senior Night). Both varsity games start at 7:30 p.m.
Also looming on the horizon is a spot in the upcoming NBL tournament, which starts next week (dates and locations TBD).
Meanwhile, the third-place Lady Tigers recorded a pair of NBL Oak Division victories last week, following up a 50-49 road thriller over Ukiah on Jan. 22 with a convincing 43-33 win over visiting Windsor on Jan. 24. Lucca Lowenberg and Bailey Alberigi led the attack against the Wildcats with 10 points apiece.
Analy (3-5, 16-8) will wrap up the league schedule with home games against Montgomery (Jan. 29) and Santa Rosa (Jan. 31, Senior Night). The varsity tips off at 7:30 p.m. The Tigers are also a good bet to compete in the upcoming NBL and NCS playoffs.
