Judy Saulter, more commonly known as Cookie, passed away suddenly on February 21st, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born in Cloverdale on May 24, 1945 to George and Ethel Braccialini. She spent her childhood growing up with her younger siblings Terry and George on McCray Road. She attended Cloverdale schools and in the 6th grade met a boy named Ron Saulter. They dated through high school and then went their separate ways.
She married her first husband Scotty MacArthur and had two children, Rickey and Michele. After they divorced, she reconnected with Ronny. They married on April 30th, 1966 and had her youngest child Rhonda a couple years later. She started a career with State Farm Insurance and worked there for many years. She left that job and became a banker at First National Bank where she worked for some years. Her last career was being a truck driver. She learned how to drive a truck from her husband and she drove until she retired in 2010. Her truck driving years took her all over the United States and even up into Canada. She would often say her fondest memories were driving north on 101 up through the redwoods
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, George and Ethel Braccialini, her sister Terry Estes, her grandson Dyllan MacArthur and her husband of 32 years Ronny Saulter. She leaves behind her brother George Braccialini (Jeanette); her children Rickey MacArthur, Michele Pearson (Paul), and Rhonda Whittaker (Ronnie); her grandchildren Chris Pearson (Kristen), Shelley Mulligan (Ryan), Ashley, Jennifer, and Heather Lopus; her great grandchildren Bella, Brodie, Austin, Kensie and Preslie; numerous nephews and cousins; and hundreds of friends.
Please join us for her Celebration of Life potluck on Saturday, March 24th, 11 a.m. at the Druids Hall in Cloverdale.
