Juanita Adkins, 68, of Sebastopol, died on March 31. 

She was born, raised, and educated in Sonoma County where she
lived her entire life. Juanita was a member of the Seventh Day
Adventist Church in Santa Rosa. She enjoyed sewing, knitting,
gardening, taking care of grandchildren and helping others.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Adkins,
who died in October 2004. Juanita is survived by her son Michael
Adkins; daughter Dedra Alberigi and her husband Marty;
grandchildren Albert Joey Beltran, Lacy Alberigi, and Natalie
Alberigi; sister Sharon Lassiter; sister Ilona Redfield and her
husband Jim; and her brother Kenneth Leavitt and his wife, Pat; as
well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 9
at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 840 Sonoma Ave., Santa Rosa.
Donations in her memory may be made to Memorial Hospice of Santa
Rosa.
