Joseph F. Anello entered into rest on November 14, 2002 in Santa
Rosa at the age of 81 years old. He was the beloved husband of Mary
Anello of Cloverdale and the loving father of Michael Anello and
his wife Colleen of Murray, Utah, and Laurie Bustamente and her
husband Javier of Bakersfield. Joseph was the cherished grandfather
of Rosalie Anello, Natalie and Anthony Bustamente, the adored son
of the late Michael and Michaela Anello, and the dear brother of
Rose Ricceri and Sam Anello, both of San JosŽ. He was a native of
Sicily, a member of the American Legion Post 111 of Healdsburg, the
Disabled American Veterans, 40/8 Club of Santa Rosa, and the Loyal
Order of Trench Rats. During his working life, he owned and
published small newspapers. In his retirement, he enjoyed working
as a crosswalk guard and as a greeter at the Windsor WalMart. A
visitation was held on November 19 in Cloverdale. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at
St. John’s Catholic Church in Healdsburg at 10 a.m. A burial will
be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland Oregon at 3
p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2002. Donations can be made to the
