Johanna Tracy-Rafanelli was born June 28, 1918 in South Range,
Mich. and passed away March 5, at 88 at the Oak Tree Lodge in
Windsor. She moved with her family to Healdsburg, where she helped
at the family restaurant, &#8220Windsor Castle”. She is a
graduate of Healdsburg High School. In 1936 she married Richard
Tracy and moved to Oakland. After 31 years of marriage Dick passed
away. Johanna worked and retired from the Alameda Co. Clerks
Office. She married Americo Rafanelli and helped at his winery
until he passed away. Johanna was a member of the Dry Creek
Neighbors and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and worked at Helping
Hands. Johanna is survived by her son Richard J. Tracy and his wife
Kate of Kelseyville, granddaughter Pauline Tracy of Concord,
grandsons Richard Tracy & his wife Dana of Lebanon, Ore.,
Bradley Tracy and his wife Jacquie of Alpharetta, Ga. and her four
great granddaughters Rachele, Briana, Lauren and Julia Tracy,
sister in law &#8220Blondie” Tapparo, two nieces, four nephews
and two cousins. Johanna was preceded in death by her husbands
Richard D. Tracy & Americo Rafanelli, granddaughter Michele V.
Tracy and brother John Tapparo.
Friends are invited to pay their respects Friday, March 9, at 7
p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fred Young Funeral Home, 428 No. Cloverdale Blvd,
Cloverdale. You are also invited to attend the Funeral Services,
Saturday, March 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church,
Healdsburg.. Private family graveside service will be held at
Evergreen Cemetery, Oakland.
