First lady Jill Biden will be in Healdsburg two days from now! Her visit is part of a quick, multi-state tour to raise money and rally support for her husband’s lagging presidential campaign. According to the Press Democrat, the first lady will land at the Sonoma County Airport around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, then “head to the home of Barbara Grasseschi and Tony Crabb, owners of Puma Springs Vineyards” out Chiquita Road, near Lytton Springs. More from the PD: “Grasseschi has helped organize local fundraisers for presidential candidates in the past. She also runs a Wine Country chapter of Electing Women Bay Area. Reached Monday, Grasseschi described the first lady’s planned visit as ‘un-effin believable.’ ‘Getting on the first lady’s schedule — I’ve been working on this since last spring,’ she said. Grasseschi said she expects Jill Biden to spend about an hour in Healdsburg, where she’ll attend a reception with up to 100 people, deliver remarks and shake hands before departing. ‘She has a crowded schedule,’ Grasseschi said.” Here’s what Jill’s jet-set lifestyle reportedly looks like this week: Salt Lake City and Park City in Utah on Tuesday, over to San Francisco in NorCal and Burbank in SoCal on Wednesday, back up to Healdsburg on Thursday, then all the way to Columbus in Ohio on Friday. Not sure on the choice of words describing the event and their inference….. “lagging”, “jet-setting”
