Jesse E  Michalek died at home in Geyserville Saturday June 7,
2008 at the age of 76. He was the loving husband of Doris Michalek
for over 54 years. Jesse was the beloved father of Harold William
(Pamela) Michalek, Anthony F. (Sylvia) Michalek and Sandra K.
Dailey. He was the adored grandfather of: Charity Michalek, Taneea
Kraut, Anthony, and Heidi Michalek, Jeremy (Stephanie) Dailey, Sean
M. (Carrie) Bailey, Terrance J. Bailey and great grand-children,
Logan, Jack and Hanna. Jesse was the brother of Mildred Hundley and
the late Carl Michalek. He is also survived by his brother-in-law
Herbert Friedel and sister-in-law Elfriede Milczanek and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Jesse was born in San Jose California and came to Alexander
Valley 53 years ago. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in
Germany during the Korean Conflict. Jesse also was a member of the
American Legion Post No. 111 Healdsburg.
Friends are invited to attend visitation from 4 to 7 p.m.
Thursday at Fred Young F.H. 428 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Cloverdale. A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of
Mt. Carmel in Asti.  Entombment will be at Oakmound Cemetery,
Healdsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Geyserville
Volunteer Fire Dept.
