Janet May Mitchell – Loved by nieces and nephews

Janet May Mitchell passed away March 7 in Santa Rosa. She was
born on August 28, 1931 in Healdsburg and graduated from Santa Rosa
High School, after which she moved to San Francisco and graduated
from the San Francisco Business College. After graduating, she met
the love of her life, the late Hymie Mitchell and they were married
48 years. She is survived by her sister Rose (Charles) Hayes of
Santa Rosa and brother Gene (Berna) Walker of Boonville. She was
also survived by 12 nephews and nine nieces. Janet loved her nieces
and nephews dearly, and they loved her very much. Friends and
family were invited to attend a chapel service, Saturday, March 17
in the Santa Rosa Mortuary Eggen and Lance Chapel at 1900 Franklin
Ave., Santa Rosa. Pastor Sue Fleenor, Knox Presbyterian Church
officiating. A private interment at Santa Rosa Memorial Park
followed.
