Janet passed away on March 20, 2018; she was 82. Born in Los Angeles, later moving to the family’s gold mine on the Arizona Mexican Border. After marrying, she resided in Capitola and later moved to Sonoma County where she worked as a controller for Job Corps.
She leaves behind her children Raymond Nielsen and Lesli Franklin; son-in-law Craig Franklin; grandchildren Cole Franklin and Andie Franklin; cousins, nieces, nephews, sister, numerous friends, and her beloved dog, Duchess.
She will always be remembered for her humor, quick wit, and her strong spirit. Janet had a passion for life and enjoyed special places like Lake Tahoe. She will live forever in our hearts and is now reunited with her loving husband of 55 years, Ray.
In lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be held. No date or location has been set at this time.
