Jane Woodland Sullivan died Jan. 5, 2008. She was 95. She was
born to Woodland and Alice Wright, on April 3, 1913 in Oakland
where she was reared and educated. She lived in Sebastopol and
Santa Rosa before moving to Napa in 2000. Sullivan was a member of
the “Saturday Afternoon Club” and enjoyed time with her family,
playing bridge, reading, writing, golf, swimming, and last but not
least the San Francisco 49’ers.
Sullivan is survived by son Steve Sullivan (Susan) of Arcadia,
CA; daughter Janace Shields (William) of Napa; granddaughter
Shannon Johnson (Sean) of Arcadia, CA; grandson Scott Sullivan
(Megan) of San Francisco; grandson Greg Shields of San Francisco;
granddaughter Carrie Shields of San Diego; grandson Paul Shields of
Minneapolis, MN; and great-granddaughter Shelby Johnson of Arcadia,
CA.
Sullivan will be placed with her family currently located at
Santa Rosa Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s
name could be made to Hospice of Napa Valley, 414 South Jefferson
Street, Napa, CA 94559.
