The Windsor High School boys lacrosse team is headed for its first ever North Bay League playoff tournament this week following a pair of recent wins over NBL opponents.
The Jaguars locked up fourth place in league with victories over Sonoma Academy (11-7) and Rancho Cotate (10-8), before dropping a 10-2 decision to Petaluma in the league finale on Friday.
The result gave the Jags a final league mark of 4-6 and 7-10 on the season, setting up a first-round playoff match-up at NBL regular season champion Casa Grande on May 3 (after press time).
Windsor began its final push for postseason on April 25, fielding a potent offensive attack en route to an 11-7 win.  Casey Horton won the majority of face-offs to lead the way with four goals, while Christian Albertson (3 goals, 1 assist), Colton Jimenez (1 goal, 3 assists), Jarod Robeldo (1 goal) and Brandon Munoz (1 goal) also scored for the Jags.
Windsor was back in the win column the following night against Rancho, as Albertson (3 goals, 1 assist), Horton (2 goals), Jimenez (1 goal, 1 assist), Ethan Ling (1 goal) and Mullholand (1 goal) all found the net for the Jaguars. Also playing well for Windsor was Jessie Valerio.
The Jags finished up a strong NCL campaign with a 10-2 loss at Petaluma. Nolan Sweeney tallied both goals for Windsor.
